WOOLSTHORPE BURIAL GROUND
MILLHOUSE MEMORIALS ON HEADSTONES
NOTE: I have not attempted to match the
gravestone to each name as the photographs would
have to be very large for the inscription to be legible
and even then not always very clear - however they
are all Millhouse graves.

This is a 1790 drawing of the ruins of the
originalSt.James Parish Church which had
been destroyed by fire during the civil war of
1642. A small chapel was then built down hill
away from the old church, being twice re-built
before the present Church was built in 1847.
